Homemade Salsa

It's no secret that my husband and I love Mexican food. Mexican is one of our favorite things to eat, especially the Salsa and chips. I could go to a restaurant and order the salsa and chips and be completely full and satisfied.  Store bought Salsa doesn't have the same great taste as restaurant Salsa, but this recipe does.

I can't afford to go buy a jar of Salsa everyday like I would love to, but I can make my own. It tastes almost exactly like our favorite local restaurants. This recipe makes a full jar like the photo above and of course you can double the batch for even more to enjoy.

Ingredients you will need:

2 Tomatoes
1/4 cup crushed Cilantro
4-5 cloves of Garlic
4 Jalapeno Slices
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Hot Sauce
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions:

Put all of the ingredients together in the food processor and blend well.  Don't leave ingredients long in processor if you like your Salsa thick or chunky. If you like thin Salsa leave it in the processor a little longer. If you like hotter Salsa add more hot sauce or jalapenos to taste. Serve with chips and Enjoy.

This recipe is so delicious. You will never want to buy another jar of Salsa from the store again!

It's just like Restaurant Salsa. You will absolutely love it! This is a snack you won't get tired of making. Make up a great big batch to last you for a long time and Enjoy!
