With classes starting back, I knew I would need a new classy look for my student observations. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but I still wanted to look presentable. So after some debating, I decided to go with the Classic Color Combo of Red, White and Black for this particular outfit.
This is my first ever Peplum Top and I only wish that I had given into this trend much sooner. I just can't believe how comfortable these tops really are. They are so freeing yet in a classy way. I'm loving the Red and White Stripes in this top too!
I tried on many different pants, ankle pants and capris, but I like this top best paired with this Black Merona Casual Skirt. I think it gives it the simple yet elegant look.
and let's not forget to accessorize! Accessories make an outfit. This would otherwise be a very casual outfit without the accessories, but the necklace and clutch really pep it up. Yes, there is a lot of pattern mixing going on here...but it makes it so much fun!
A classic outfit doesn't have to be boring. I love how this look turned out. Yes, it includes your classic color combinations of red, white and black, but it's far from a dull outfit. It's so comfortable to wear which is perfect for my days in the classroom or perfect to wear anywhere. I can have fun, be comfortable and make a fashion statement while I go about my day.
