Frugal Fall Decor - Della Devoted

Frugal Fall Decor

Fall! It's that time of year again. All of the leaves are changing to their beautiful colors. Cool crisp mornings. All things Pumpkin! It's time to decorate! I love to decorate for fall but I certainly don't want to spend much money doing so. I'm going to teach you how to decorate for fall the frugal way and still make your place look magnificent.

1) Candy Corn Centerpiece

Total cost to make was $3.50 instructions on how to make this are here

2) Dollar Tree Place Mats

I turned them into door mats - $2

3) Dollar Tree Leaf Garland

I bought 7 of these for my front and back porch

Total cost of garland - $7

4) Fall/ Halloween Garden Flag

Dollar Tree $1

5) Fall Bouquet

I already had the flower vase. I bought three bundles of flowers from the Dollar Tree $3 total

6) Fall Coffee Filter Wreath

Total to make this was $10.65

Details on how to make this here

7) Fall Door Initial

Things you will need to make this are:
- Initial ($1.97 at Walmart)
-Ribbon ($4.97 at Walmart even though I already had this)
-Tube of glitter (88 cents at Walmart)
-Elmer's Spray adhesive glue ($7.11 at Walmart)

Total to make Fall Door Initial was $9.96 because like I said, I already had the ribbon.

8) Fodder Shock with Pumpkins and Mums

If you know anyone that has a garden then most likely they will have corn stalks to make a fodder shock. If not then you can get these at most hardware stores for around $12-$15. Luckily my uncle grew corn this year and gave me three of these.

My uncle also gave me the pumpkin.

I already had the ribbon.

Yellow Mums ($3.98 each at Walmart)

TOTAL FOR ALL FALL DECOR $ 45.07

I feel like I did a lot of decorating for under $50. I'm proud of myself!

What fall decorations are you doing? Are you doing budget friendly decor?

  2. Love your decorations! I really need to get on the ball with getting our house a little fall feeling. And the placemats for door mats is such a great idea.

  3. I love your ideas! Did you do anything on the back of the mats to make them non-slick? And I LOVE that candy corn ribbon!

  4. Amazing! Such great finds. I'm still needing to get our decorations up. This time last year, they had been up for a month already!
