Jamberry Nails + Giveaway

I have always loved the designs on Jamberry Nails and have wanted to make a purchase for quite a while now. Although, I was leery as to how well that they would work. Well I finally decided to take the plunge and order some from my wonderful blogger friend and Jamberry Consultant Becky @ BYBMG. The great thing about Jamberry is you can order pre-made designs or you can create your own. September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month and I knew I wanted to have some nail wraps to help raise awareness for Ovarian Cancer. My mother passed away from this horrible disease so I am very passionate about raising awareness to help find a cure. Becky worked with me and helped me to pick out the perfect design.

I received my nail wraps in less than a week after ordering. With one sheet which is what I got, you can do up to two manicures and two pedicures. This is the first day of application. I mixed and matched. On some nails I applied nail wraps, while on others I used Sally Hanson Triple Shine in the shade of pool. It was the closest to teal that I could find.

And this is how they look after 7 days of wear.

They have endured several loads of dishes being done along with many other household chores and running after a toddler. They have a pretty strong endurance. As you can see in the photos, that the polish didn't hold up as well as the nail wraps. I am more than pleased with my purchase and will definitely be purchasing more in the near future. They are well worth the price. I love the fact that you can at least get up to a week's wear out of them if not more.  In fact, I love them so much that I'm giving away a free set of Fall nail wraps in the color of Apple Cider to one lucky  winner.

Photo shown is a mixed manicure of Apple Cider and a Jamberry polish. One of the joys of Jamberry is mixing and matching. Isn't this the perfect nail color for Fall?  The giveaway starts today September 28th at 8am and will run through Friday October 2nd at 8pm. All you have to do is follow the directions on the rafflecopter to enter. Please be sure to follow each one carefully. The winner will be emailed shortly after the giveaway has ended. Thanks for participating! Good luck!

High Five For Friday

Hello everyone! Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday linkup hosted by Tif@ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of Tea, Caitlin  @ Coffee With Caitlin and myself. We're glad you're here!

This week's featured blogger is Sheryl @ How to Make a Life. Sheryl is a clinical social worker/counselor and life coach. She loves fashion and she loves to travel. She posts recipes, healthy living, inspiration and so much more. Please stop by her blog and give her a shout out!

It's that time again for my favorites from this past week. It was a good week and for that I am so thankful. God is so good.

1) We attended our annual Harvest Festival on Saturday. I always look forward to it every year, especially now that we have Raylan. Raylan is just like his momma. He enjoyed the funnel cakes, lemonade and watching the parade.

2) I won a Rodan and Fields mini facial and I am so excited. I never win anything and I am in desperate need of a facial.

3) Wednesday was the first day of fall and I am so excited! I just love Fall. Earlier this week, I did a tour of my fall décor and I had a free fall printable. Click here to get yours today to add to your home décor.

4) I just have to share this. Raylan is always on the go and usually never wants to cuddle long. Well earlier this week, he was so tired that he just fell asleep in my arms. I treasured every second of it. Times like these are few and far between. I wish I could just keep him little forever.

5) We had our second Google Hangout. It was about blogging tips and advice and how to learn from our mistakes. I think some will find it very helpful. You can watch it right here.

Well that's it for today. I hope you all have a safe and blessed weekend! God Bless you!

Easy Pumpkin Bread

It's that time of year again for all things Pumpkin! I love anything and everything pumpkin, especially pumpkin bread. What I love even more is a super easy recipe for pumpkin bread. Some recipes can be so lengthy and complicated when they don't have to be. What I have here is  the easiest pumpkin bread recipe that you will ever find. It is so delicious and it definitely doesn't disappoint.

All you need is 2 ingredients. Yes, you heard that right. Only 2 ingredients.

A box of spice cake mix and a 15oz can of pumpkin.

Pour cake mix into large mixing bowl. Then add your can of pumpkin. You don't need eggs, oil or water. Just the cake mix and pumpkin.  You don't even need a mixer for this. Just stir up really well with a large utility spoon. Once cake mix and pumpkin are mixed well, pour into a sprayed bread, muffin or bundt pan.

Bake on 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Once the bread is fresh out of the oven, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

The heat makes the powdered sugar melt into the bread. It is so delicious.

Be sure to eat it with a cup of hot coffee or a good glass of cold mild. It's the perfect fall treat!

Fall Decor + Free Fall Printable

Yay! It's almost my favorite time of year. As you probably already know by now, I LOVE Fall! So what did I do all weekend, I decorated my home for fall. I love seeing everyone's decorations so I thought I would share mine with you. Don't forget to scroll all the way to the bottom. There is a free printable just for you.

Let's start with a tour of the outside...

I love my simple yet elegant Fall wreath that was gave to me by a wonderful friend.

My Autumn Harvest Table on the back porch.

Fall is not Fall without mums. Yellow are my favorite. They are so bright and cheerful.

Sorry for the wear on the pumpkin. I've had Mr. Pumpkin for a few years.

Here are all of my wooden creations together.

This is our fall initial with candy corn ribbon. I made this last year and the storage kind of smashed my ribbon and took off some of the glitter :(

Now for the inside...

I love my table centerpiece. It was also gifted from a friend. Doesn't it scream Fall?

This sign says it all. It's too cute!

I love this simple pumpkin plate and candle. It was a birthday gift!

And my favorite is this simple bouquet of fall flowers that I made along with this Fall Printable. It stands out and makes a statement letting you know that fall has arrived.

Click here to download your free printable. I love printables. They add character to any room. This printable reminds us to Give Thanks to the Lord for his many blessings.

I would love to see how you decorated for Fall! Happy Fall Y'all!

High Five For Friday

Hello everyone! Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday linkup hosted by Tif@ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of Tea, Caitlin  @ Coffee With Caitlin and myself. We're glad you're here!

This week's featured blogger is Kelly from Familiar Joy. Kelly is a wife, mom of 4, teacher and follower of Jesus. She also has a great sense of fashion. Kelly has a great inspiring blog that I certainly enjoy reading.  Please stop by and say hello to her.

Well I am so glad that Friday is finally here. The weekend was so difficult. Raylan was hospitalized and had to have a small procedure done. We spent all weekend in the hospital. We are home, but he has had two follow-up appointments. It's been a very long rough week and we are worn out. But anyway let's rewind to some happy moments from this week.

1) With Raylan seeing so many doctors and nurses, he wanted their stethoscopes. So when we finally were released from the hospital, I bought him his very own doctors kit. He loves it! The stethoscope even makes heart sounds. He has been listening to me and Justin all week. Introducing Dr. Raylan!

2) I think we have finally picked out Raylan's Halloween Costume. He will make the cutest cowboy!

3) We have been decorating some for Fall this week and I am so excited. Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. As soon as I get all of my decorations up, I will post pictures.

4) Speaking of Fall, did you see my Fall Fashion Wish list that I posted this week? I just love the color and pattern combos. You can read the full post here.

5) Our little community is having our annual Harvest Festival this weekend and parade. I'm so excited to take Raylan. Last year we took him but he was so small then. I think he will really enjoy it this year. I'm really looking forward to taking him.

Well that's a wrap. I hope each and everyone of you has a blessed weekend! Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate my readers so much!

Don’t forget! The next H54F Hangout on September 24 @ 9:30pm! That one will be all about blogging! Do you have any questions about blogging you’d like us to chat about? Any tips you want to share?? We’re all learning together, right? Let me know down in the comments below!

I decided I wanted to make a colorful statement and I wanted my look to scream FALL! So I went for pretty much all of the colors that represent fall.  Here are my favorites from my Fall Fashion Wish list:

A Fall Plaid Blanket Scarf
Black and White Striped Long Sleeved Tee
Black Leggings ( Because you have to have a pair of leggings for the colder months and who doesn't love leggings)
A Leopard Clutch
Brown Suede Ankle Booties
Gold and Turquoise Howlite Earrings

The long sleeved tee can be worn with or without the cardigan and you can add some or all of the accessories to the ensemble. Either way, It's an adorable look that definitely let's everyone know that Fall has arrived. It's bold with a lot of vibrant colors and pattern mixing but hey pattern mixing is in fashion now. You can wear this outfit anywhere and be sure to turn heads. I love it! I can't wait to take our Fall family photos featuring this look. The best part about this outfit is that everything is affordable and fits even the tightest budget.

This week wasn't a very good week. My first cousin passed away from a heart attack. He was only 29. It was such a shock to the whole family. We sure could use your prayers. Let's get to some of the good parts from this week.

1) My birthday was on Tuesday, but we celebrated over the weekend because Justin had to work. It was low key which was what I needed. We went for dinner and then took a trip to Lowe's to get me some fall mums that were on sale.  I love this photo of Raylan and Justin. Raylan loved the cart and said vroom vroom the whole time. He sure is a car man just like his daddy.

and speaking of a true car man. This is how Raylan fell asleep the other day...

2) Even though this 28th birthday wasn't very good with the passing of my cousin Shawn, I must say I have some pretty awesome friends and family who tried to make me smile. I received some pretty awesome gifts. I loved each and everyone of them.

3) I'm in love with my "Refuse to Sink" bracelet from @jessejanesjewelry This bracelet has so much sentimental value to me. I've looked everywhere for something like this and I'm so glad that I found it. I've ordered quite a few things from @jessejanesjewelry and I'm always satisfied with each purchase. She is very reasonably priced too!

4) My week got better when I saw these in stores. Oh how I love Pumpkin Delights!!!

5)  I wore Teal on Tuesday for my mom along with my Lilly Pulitzer All nighter tank that I received for my birthday. I love my tank by the way! Also every Tuesday in September wear Teal to raise awareness for Ovarian Cancer.

Well that's a wrap. I hope everyone had a great and safe weekend. Thanks for stopping by! May God bless you always!
