Motherhood is such a wonderful joy. It is such a joy that can't even be explained. I absolutely love being a mom, my son is my whole world.  He truly is a blessing from God and an answer to my many prayers. But let's face it, motherhood is hard!

This week has been one of those blah weeks! It has felt like the longest week ever. I guess because it has rained all week long and summer classes have started. I'm exhausted and need a vacation. Anyway let's recap my favorites from this week.

Chocolate Cherry Kool-Aid Cupcakes

My son Raylan loves Cupcakes. I believe they are his favorite snack to date. He always says "Mommy make a cupcake!" That sweet little voice is hard to resist. I love to bake, but I get tired of making the same flavors over and over again. That gets old after a while. So one day I decided to change things up a bit and try out a new flavor. 5 Reasons Why You Should Accessorize

As a woman, I love fashion! What woman doesn't enjoy dressing up and feeling good about themselves? Although a little retail therapy is always nice, it can get very expensive.  I for one certainly can't afford to go broke on trying to make myself look good. This is where Accessories come into play.

This has been a slow but good week. It has rained all week long but the good Lord knew that we needed rain, so I guess we shouldn't complain. Let's recap some of my favorites from this past week.

Summer Prep for Toddler Fun

This post is sponsored by Groupon Coupon.  It also contains affiliate links. As always, all opinions are my own.

Summer is quickly approaching and I couldn't be more excited! My son Raylan is 2 and will be able to have loads of fun in the sun this summer. So I have taken the time to round up a few things to get Raylan and your toddler ready for Summer Fun. All of these items are very affordable and won't break the bank.

Under the Sea Style

I'm a kid at heart! I love Disney Movies and yes, I still watch them. Now that I have Raylan, that means I get to watch them even more. One of my all time favorite Disney movies is The Little Mermaid. So my friends and I joined together to bring you a little Under the Sea Style inspiration since summertime is approaching.

High Five For Friday

Hello everyone! Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday linkup hosted by Tif@ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of Tea and myself. We're glad you're here!

This week's featured blogger is Johannah from The Sirois Family. Johannah is a full time working wife. She works as a 9-1-1 dispatcher. She is also a mom of two girls. She loves coffee and she loves to travel. She has been blogging since 2011. She blogs about many different things and she also has some pretty great recipes on her blog like this Baked Chicken Parmesan that I can't wait to try. It looks so delicious. Please stop by her blog and say hello!

Friday! I am so glad that you are here,  This has been one long and rough week. I have been under the weather all week, I'm guessing due to allergies. Not to mention, it's finals week. I just submitted a 10 page final. Oh what fun! Prayers for a good grade please. Anyway let's rewind to the positive and happy things from this week.

1) Last weekend, I made my first ever Bible Cake for a customer. I didn't have a Bible Cake Pan, so I had to carve the cake by hand. I love how it turned out!

2) Last weekend, Justin and I had a baby sitter so we were able to head out to eat with a few friends. We celebrated Justin's early birthday by eating at the delicious Pig in a Poke restaurant. It is the BEST BBQ food around. It's one of Tif's from Bright on a Budget's favorite restaurants too!

3) Monday was Justin's actual Birthday so I made him a pretty much Thanksgiving dinner. That was his request lol. However, we had ham instead of Turkey. Instead of a traditional birthday cake, I attempted my first ever Oreo Ice Cream Cake and it turned out Amazing! We all loved it.

I also let Raylan pick out some gifts to buy for Justin. Since Raylan and Justin are both car guys, it was only natural that Raylan pick out a car for his daddy. I think thoughtful gifts like these are the best. They come from the heart! It really made Justin's day!

4) I'm loving the May Flowers that we are getting. Here is one of my beautiful yellow Lilies  after the rain.

Don't forget to check out this month's installment of How I Style It- May Flowers Outfit too! Hint, it includes more yellow flowers.

5) Next week is Food Allergy Awareness Week. Please help spread awareness and wear Teal, not only for my son but for everyone! I'm praying that a cure for food allergies is found one day!

Well that's it for now. Have a safe and joyful weekend. Happy Mother's Day everyone! God bless you!

April In Review

April was a good month. I feel like it was a long month, but good nonetheless. Rainy days always makes time go by a little more slowly. Like any month there is good and bad, but the good always outweighs the bad. We are blessed by the best! It was a great blogging month too. Here are some of my favorite posts from the month of April...
