DIY Jello Fish Bowl Snack - Della Devoted

DIY Jello Fish Bowl Snack

Recently, my friend Tif  and I took our boys to see Finding Dory. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The boys loved it and so did we. Raylan even won a free fish after the movies that even looks like Dory. All he has talked about is Dory this and Dory that after watching the movie. So, his new found love for fish inspired me to make a fish snack for him to enjoy. I present to you the Jello Fish Bowl Snack. It's so easy you can do it yourself...

Ingredients you will need:

1 Round glass or plastic bowl
2 Packs of multicolored fruit snacks
1 3 oz Box of Berry Blue Jello
1 Package of assorted Swedish Fish
1 Package of graham crackers

Directions:
First, place two packs of fruit snacks in bottom of bowl...This is to make them look like Aquarium rocks.

Second, mix up your jello. Boil 1 cup of water for about a minute then remove from heat and stir in Jello. Stir until well dissolved. Next, add 1 and 1/4 cup of cold water. Continue mixing well. Then pour Jello mixture into bowl over fruit snacks.

Third, let Jello sit for about 2-3 hours or until it starts to thicken.

Fourth, after Jello has thickened, cut a few different slits into Jello and insert Swedish Fish. I used about 5 fish. I inserted them just enough to make them look like they were swimming.

Fifth, crush graham crackers and add on top of Jello. This  makes it look like sand and gives it the beachy feel.

Chill a little longer or serve and enjoy! It's whatever you prefer. This was a big hit with Raylan. He loved it! He said Oh! I like this! So that was a win in my book.

This is a delicious dessert that is sure to please all of the kids and even the adults. It is perfect for the Dory theme or any Summer, beach or fish theme. The bright colors and the delightful taste is sure to brighten any child's day.
