This has been a long and hot week. However, it has been a good week. God has surely blessed us. We have been having air conditioner problems but I am thankful that the Lord blessed us to get a new one. That's one less thing to stress about. Isn't God good!!! Let's recap my favorites from this week.

1) I have a new favorite place to shop through online. It's called Giving Assistant. It's a cash back website that gives you cash back with the highest cash back rates while also allowing you to donate a percentage to your favorite charity. I chose Ovarian Awareness of Kentucky in memory of my mom. I get great cash back and still manage to help fund a wonderful cause. Please read my review here.

2) It has been a great week for garden food. Who else shares my love for fresh garden food? I made some delicious Cucumber Salad and we have enjoyed it all week.

3) I'm loving this photo of Raylan. It was so hot outside this week that we stayed inside most of the time. I guess he got bored and decided that his hot wheels needed a good washing.

4) I celebrated my 2nd Blog Anniversary this week. I seriously cannot believe that I have been blogging for two whole years. Time flies when you're having fun! Don't forget to enter my blog giveaway here for a chance to win a $40 Target Gift Card!

5) Justin and I have found a new Netflix favorite. We started watching Stranger Things. It definitely holds your attention all throughout the show. Have any of you watched it? I really like it so far.

Well that's a wrap for my week. I hope you all have a safe and blessed weekend. God Bless You!

Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to Link-up!

Cash Back for Charity

This post is sponsored by Giving Assistant.  It also contains affiliate links.  As always, all opinions are my own.

Like most women, I love to shop! However, I always love to save money when I do shop. Being a stay at home mom,  I am on a budget so I need to save money where I can. Recently I came across a fabulous website called Giving Assistant. Giving Assistant  is a  cash back website that gives the highest cash back rates for stores that sell high-quality products ranging in all categories you can think of- beauty, home goods, food, tech- you name it. 100% of the affiliate commission goes to their users, the users  can choose to donate some of their earnings to the charity of their choice, and it’s free to join. I chose the charity Ovarian Awareness of Kentucky to honor my mother's memory. She passed away in 2005 from a horrible battle of Ovarian Cancer, so this charity is very near and dear to my heart.

I made my purchase through Rue 21. I always shop there so why not get cash back to shop where you love! I have had my eye on the cold shoulder tops for a while, but didn't want to spend a high price just on one top. So I caught it on sale for only $5, can you say deal?

The process was super easy to do. I just went to the website of Giving Assistant website, created an account and typed in the name of the store in the search bar. It shows right there on the search bar how much cash back that you will get for shopping at the store of your choice. Rue 21 gives up to 5% cash back.

Once you type in your search, you are led to another page which provides you with a link for your store. This page also tells you the amount of cash back. It also provides you with up-to-date coupon codes to save you extra money.

Once clicking on the link to the store of your choice, you are free to shop as normal. See that wasn't that hard! Here is the Cold Shoulder Top of my choice. Original price was $12.99. I got it for over 60% off for only $5. Now that's my kind of deal!

By shopping through Giving Assistant, you can also save money at various other stores. For example shopping at ebay will earn you 1.2% cash back, shopping at Amazon will earn you  a 1.5% charity donation and shopping at Old Navy will earn you up to 4% cash back as well as many other great stores.

I  must say that I had a wonderful experience with Giving Assistant and I will most definitely continue to use it to shop with. I love the fact that I can get a percentage of money back when I shop but most importantly I love how I can donate a percentage of my cash back to my favorite charity. It's a win all around for me!

Please take the time to shop through Giving Assistant. You won't regret it!

Columbus Zoo 2016

Over the weekend, Justin and I took Raylan on his first zoo trip. We wanted to go last year, but decided to wait until this year so he would be able to enjoy it more. Raylan is such an animal lover so I knew he would be really excited.

7 Years of Marriage

High Five For Friday

Hello everyone! Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday linkup hosted by Tif@ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of Tea and myself. We're glad you're here!

This has been a very lazy week and for that I am grateful. This was my first official week off from summer classes, and I have done absolutely nothing except take Raylan to a few fun places. I plan on being more productive in the next few weeks, but I needed to relax this week. Let's recap my favorites from this past week.

1) Last Weekend, we took Raylan to a birthday party. He had so much fun with the kids and the adults. I love this photo that I snapped of him when they were throwing balloons at each other. You can just see what a fun time he was having here.

2) Sunday we had a little cookout at home with just us and the family. It was so nice to be able to enjoy good food and quality time with family. The weather was nice too. I love cookout season!

3) My dad took us out to eat this week and of course Raylan had to sit with his poppy. I wanted to snap a good picture of them together but it's clear Raylan wasn't in the mood for pictures. Typical Man lol!!!

4) Raylan decided he wanted to help make his daddy's dinner bucket for work one night. I thought this photo was hilarious. I'm not sure how much pop he thought his daddy needed but he was trying to load him down lol. I guess he didn't want his daddy getting thirsty.

5) Our local movie theater hosts free movie Wednesday's in July for kids. This week they showed Zootopia and had a real life petting zoo before the movie. Raylan and Tif's little boy Kane loved the goats. They cried when we had to go inside. They wanted to stay with the goats. It was such a nice little event. I'm so thankful that our area hosts things like that for children.

Well that's a wrap for my week. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Have a safe and blessed weekend! God Bless You!

What I'm Wearing This Summer

What I'm Wearing this Summer

I don't really care for Summer, it's too hot for me. However, I do love all of the fun activities  that you can do during the Summer. I also love all of adorable fashion trends that can be worn during the Summer too. The clothes are so bright and comfy, and let's not forget the beautiful sandals.  Sandals are a favorite part of my Summer attire too. One can never have too many pairs of sandals. Today I'm sharing with you my must have Summer pieces that I have already worn several times.

The Dishes Can Wait

It seems like every day there is so much to have to do around the house. Mornings start with breakfast and then it's a whirlwind after that. It feels like the house will never get cleaned and that pile of dishes will never get done, but those dishes can wait...
