She blogs about her travels, she posts some great recipes like this Reese's Ice Cream Cake. It looks so amazing! I wish I could eat Reese's, I miss them. (My son has a severe nut allergy, so no nuts allowed in our home.) Tanya also blogs about Beauty , DIY Projects and many other things. She has a great blog! You will love it! Please stop by and say hello to Tanya!

This week has been a pretty good week. I'm loving this cool Fall weather. This truly is the best time of year. What can I say? The Ber' Months are my favorites! Let's recap my favorites from this week.

1) On Saturday, Justin and I managed to sneak away for a little bit for a date. We had dinner and then laid away a few things for Raylan for Christmas. I'm getting so excited for the upcoming holidays. It was nice to just have some alone time.  Every couple needs alone time every now and then.

2) Sunday, my brother turned 24. He is such a blessing from God. He truly is a miracle. He only weighed 1lb and 7oz at birth. He has overcame so many obstacles in life. We are so blessed to have him. He was so excited about his 4 wheeler cake that I made him. He loves big celebrations.

3) This week at Story Time, Raylan and the children learned the letter F. We celebrated with delicious F themed snacks and a Funny Face Activity. Raylan loves Story Time and always has so much fun!

4) I finally have my Fall Decor Complete Outside. All I need now is an Orange Ribbon, but purple and yellow will do for now.

5) Raylan picked out his costume this week. He decided he wanted to be a Fireman for Halloween. I might be biased, but he is the cutest Fireman that I have ever seen. I'm glad to be getting things done early this year instead of waiting until last minute.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you've had a great week and I hope you have an even better weekend. God Bless You!

Relaxed Plaid and Pearls

I love Plaid, especially Buffalo Plaid. Plaid is perfect for Fall and Winter! Right now Fall is still pretty warm, so I like a cool and relaxed style. These plaid leggings are perfect for warm Fall days and will transition well for the colder days ahead.

Fall Fashion Staples

My favorite Season is finally here and I am so excited! I love Fall, especially Fall Fashion. There are so many cute things that you can wear during Fall that will transition into the Winter months too. I have rounded up my favorite pieces of clothing and accessories that will definitely be fashion staples for me this fall. Every woman needs a pair of boots, a blanket scarf, a pair of stud earrings and a cute bag for this beautiful season. Not to mention, Burgundy, Buffalo Plaid, Mustard Yellow, Olive Green, Navy and Stripes are must haves too! If you are looking for some ways to change up your look for fall, well look no more! Here are some Fashion Staples you need for your closet now!

Sorry I haven't kept up with comments this week. I promise to do better. This hasn't been the best week. Justin's grandmother passed away, so it has been a rough week for all of the family. She seemed just like my grandmother too. I've known her all of my life. I knew her before I even knew Justin. She will truly be missed but I know she is in a much better place now and I will see her again in heaven one day. Let's recap my favorites from this week.

1) Losing Justin's grandmother was so very hard, but we have so many wonderful memories and photos of her. I love this photo of me and Raylan with her. She loved all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was such a Godly woman who will truly be missed.

2) Over the weekend, we attended our local annual Harvest Festival. It is always such a fun event. They have live bands, shopping booths, great food, inflatables, hayrides and even a parade. We always look forward to going each year. I especially love the lemonade and funnel cakes. I wish I could have gotten a few pictures, but my phone was acting up and wouldn't let me take any pictures. Go figure!

3) I made this Candy Corn Centerpiece for my  kitchen table and I love how it turned out. It's amazing what some Dollar Store Flowers and some Candy Corn can do lol

4) I decided to try a new Pinterest Recipe and I love it. Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa is so delicious! If you are a pumpkin spice lover like myself, then you must try it! You can find the recipe here.

5) Yesterday was the first day of Fall, so Raylan and I celebrated with a nice walk and then a leaf craft. He glued the leaves to the construction paper all by himself. I thought he did an awesome job! I'm going to frame it!

Pineapple Fruit Dip

We all have had an event that we needed to go to that required a covered dish or dessert brought. Especially, a church event or a party. When it comes to things like this, I like taking the easy way out. No one has time to put together a large feast or a dessert that takes forever. I like quick, easy and delicious recipes. With Church Homecoming, Secret Sisters monthly meetings and Fall events coming up; I have the perfect dessert to make. You will enjoy it for all of your events too...

This has been a good week. I received good results back from my Hida Scan. My gallbladder is normal. It turns out that the h pylori infection caused a gallbladder attack, but it appears to be working normal now. Praise the Lord! God is so good. It is also now September and that excites me. We are getting closer to my favorite season which is Fall. Anyway, let's recap my favorites from this week.
