We have all been overwhelmed before and it is a terrible feeling. We may be overwhelmed from sickness, finances, school, marriage, jobs or anything. The truth is there will always be something that can overwhelm a person. Sometimes we feel like just giving up and throwing in the towel but God doesn't want us to do that. There is hope in Christ alone. He gives us his Holy Word to reassure us and calm our fears. Here are 7 Bible Verses to read when you're overwhelmed.
"From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I." Psalm 61:2
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13

These words have brought so much comfort to my heart. Whenever I am overwhelmed, I turn to these precious Holy Words. It is then that I realize that God is still God and there is nothing that he can't take care of. Nothing is bigger than God! God is in control of all things. He takes care of all things and he will take care of us. I'm so thankful for an all knowing God, who knows exactly how to comfort his children when they are in need. Isn't it amazing that for every problem that we face, there is a certain scripture for what we are facing to give us peace. God is so good! Allow God to comfort you today!
