I love Strawberry Pie, especially during the Summer. There is nothing better on a hot day, than a delicious piece of Pie. If you are looking for something easy and festive to make for your fourth of July celebration, this is the perfect recipe for you. It's a no bake treat that will save you from having to fire up the oven, but most of all it is delicious and is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
No Bake Strawberry Pie
What you will need:
1 Graham Cracker Crust
1 Pack of Strawberry Glaze
1 Carton of Strawberries
You can also make your own glaze using the following ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of Sugar
1 1/2 cups of Water
1/4 cup of Cornstarch
Boil until it turns thick and clear then add 1 small box of strawberry jello.
Icing:
1 8 oz block of Cream Cheese
1 8 oz tub of Cool Whip
1 cup of Sugar
(Mix with mixer until well blended)
I like to cut my strawberries up in small pieces, so they are easier to eat and then add the glaze in with them.
First, put a good thick layer of icing in the graham cracker crust.
Next, put a layer of the strawberries and glaze mixture on top of icing.
Finally, you can keep layering with more icing and then another layer of strawberries until you run out of room. If you are satisfied you can finish the pie off with some cute little icing rosettes for borders. This pie only has one layer of icing and one layer of strawberries and glaze, but you can keep going if you prefer.
It's so good!
You will definitely want to make more than just one.
