H54F: Anniversary & Family Time

Hello everyone! Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday linkup hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of TeaBecky @ BYBMG   and myself. We're glad you're here!

I have missed you all! Since the blog has been down for the last week, let's recap my favorite highlights from the past 2 weeks.

1) Justin and I celebrated our 8th Wedding Anniversary. I'm so thankful that God has blessed us with 8 wonderful years and with a beautiful son. I pray that God blesses us with many more years of love and happiness.

2) We went on a nature hike at our local Kingfisher/God's Promise Trail. The hike is roughly a little over 2 miles long. One side of the trail has beautiful scenery and the other side has Bible Verses displayed throughout on signs. It's such a nice and peaceful little trail. Raylan loves adventure hikes.

3) Our little community has gotten into Painting and Hiding Rocks and we love it. These were the first ever rocks that Raylan and I painted and hid. He loved the Pizza one so I had to make another one just for him to keep.

Justin and I took Raylan walking along another trail in our area and he found these 2 rocks. Raylan was so excited to find them! I can't wait to paint some for the holidays!

4) Our little community has a new Sweet Shop in town that just had their grand opening yesterday. I can't wait to stop in and give Sugar Momma's Sweet Shop a try. I love trying new delicious sweets and Val that owns it is just the sweetest lady ever. A wonderful review will be coming soon.

5) Have you read any good books lately? I'm currently reading Abbi Glines new book Because of Lila. It's such a great read!

This week's featured blogger is Allie from A Gal Named Al. Allie shares a little about her  family, her favorite recipes, teacher tips, and everything in between on her blog. I love her most recent recipe of Baked Chicken and Rice Casserole. It looks so delicious. Please stop by and say hello to Allie.

Just a friendly reminder...International Friendship Day is next week. We are celebrating it a few days early on the blog next Friday, August 4th. We will be talking about friendships made through H54F and blogging, so please feel free to share any friendships you have made from this linkup or blogging in general.

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to linkup below. Have a blessed weekend!
