I like Summer, but I do not enjoy the heat. So when it comes to fashion, I keep things very minimal and basic in the summer to keep from burning up. You could say that my style is very relaxed.









This is pretty much my typical everyday style in the summer these days. Sleeveless tanks, sundresses and T-shirts are about as dressed up as I get due to the Kentucky heat. I find that the older I get, the more I am coming out of my comfort zone. You would think it would be the exact opposite. I used to loathe wearing sleeveless shirts. I also used to not even feel comfortable wearing my hair up in a messy bun or ponytail. I have always felt more comfortable with my hair down. However, it's nice to just relax and step out of your comfort zone sometimes. I guess being a mom and this humidity will make a person step out of their comfort zone  I was hesitant about posting these photos, but this is me and my everyday life.  Why not share it, right? Over the weekend, my little family and I walked this beautiful trail in our little hometown in search of painted rocks. This was what I wore for the trail and out to dinner. I love low-key weekends.
