Hello everyone! Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday linkup hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of Tea, Becky @ BYBMG and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights from the past week each Friday.
1) Last Friday was my 30th Birthday. It's still hard to believe that I am 30! Justin and I went for a little weekend getaway for my birthday and so that he could race at a big event. I didn't mind the racing though because I actually enjoy it myself. I was so excited to watch him race and do so well. I'm so proud of him! We missed Raylan but it was nice to be able to spend quality time time together. I recommend every couple take a little getaway trip together if you can.
2) The race that Justin raced in was the Holley LS Fest in Bowling Green, Ky. I have a review up on the blog about it. You can read about it here. This is one of my favorite photos of him racing. I still can't believe he did a wheelie like he did when he launched. It was pretty awesome to watch.
3) I had some great food while on our trip. My favorites were these cinnamon rolls from Wild Eggs
and this Philly Cheesesteak from Double Dogs.
I certainly ate well for my birthday lol. Everything was so delicious!
4) I have been trying to learn how to coupon lately. After we got back home from our trip, I scored 5 packs of baby wipes for free. I was ecstatic! It was definitely a win for me.
5) Raylan and I decided to get creative and make a ghost for our porch. He is so excited for Halloween and loves decorating. I took a tomato cage, a dollar store pumpkin and an old white shirt and made this ghost for the porch. He loves it!
This week's featured blogger is Justine from Charm City Ciemny's. Justine is a Christian, wife and mom. She is also a passionate animal advocate. She has some great posts. I love her recent Fall Bucket List. She has a great list and it reminds me that I need to get started on mine. Please stop by and say hello to Justine.
