Hello everyone! Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday linkup hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of Tea, Becky @ BYBMG and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights from the past week each Friday.
Today is my Birthday! I am now the big 30! I'm so thankful that the Lord has blessed me with another year of life. However, It seems so unreal that I am actually 30. Time really does fly by so fast. Anyway, Justin and I are on a little weekend getaway. Details about our trip will be up next week. It's been a fun week of early birthday celebrations, so let's rewind my favorites.
1) Saturday, Justin and Raylan took me out for dinner. We went to my new favorite restaurant which is Southern Spoon. It's a great and reasonably priced BBQ place. It is always so delicious. I love their pulled chicken sandwiches and loaded nachos.
2) Raylan said he wanted to pick mommy out a present. That present just so happened to be a Camaro. However, I have yet to get to play with my own present lol. It was so sweet and came from his heart. It's the best gift that I could ever get. I truly love this age. He is so sweet and thoughtful. I pray he always has a big heart like he does.
3) We also took Raylan to his friend Jake's 4th birthday party over the weekend. It was a shark themed party and it was the most adorable little party that I have ever seen. We all had a blast especially Raylan and Jake. They played until they couldn't play anymore.
4) Monday was another celebration. I truly have the best daddy! After a long morning of Kidney Dialysis, he still managed to throw me a little early birthday party. He came home with a Pizza From Pizza Stop and a delicious cheesecake. He is just so precious. He has the biggest heart of anyone I know. FYI Pizza Stop has the best pizza hands down. If you are ever in Eastern Kentucky, you must try it.
5) This is simply my favorite photo of Raylan and I. We took this after an evening of him practicing riding his bike. He's my best friend! I'm a blessed mom for sure!
This week's featured blogger is Erin from Chasing Roots. Erin is a wife, mom and writer who lives in Texas. She recently wrote a restaurant overview for Texas Living Magazine which is very exciting. I'm also loving these Ice Cream Cake Cups that she made. They look so delicious! Please stop by and say hello to Erin.
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to linkup below. Have a blessed weekend!
