Budget-Friendly Halloween Party for Kids

This year, we hosted our first annual Halloween Party for Raylan, his cousins and friends. It was a lot of planning, but it was well worth it. Raylan and all of the kids had a blast as well as the adults. We were on a budget which meant that we had to be creative with our planning but that's what made the party a success.
The party took place at my Mother in Law's home. We used her large dining room to create a haunted house for the kids to party in. All decor that you see came from the Dollar Tree, Family Dollar and Dollar General. Most all of the decorations were only a dollar.

These are just a few of the decorations. We had ghosts, skeletons, bats, witches and vampires hanging everywhere from the ceiling and on the walls. We also used storage boxes to create monsters  to set on the end tables.

We sat up a photo prop area for each child to take a photo by which turned out so adorable.

This homemade Pumpkin toss game was too cute. Whoever got a ball in the pumpkins mouth won a prize.

This fishing game was the biggest hit with all of the kids. We put up a sheet along the wall with a Witch sitting behind it to put prizes on the fishing pole. Each child would throw their pole over the sheet and fish for a prize. The prizes  for both games were all from the Dollar Tree which included Hot wheels, bubbles, stickers, necklaces, spider rings and candy.

It was a beautiful evening so the kids also enjoyed playing volleyball games outside.

Ghost and Pumpkin Cookies.

Every child also received a treat bag full of goodies.

All of the adults dressed up for the kids. We told scary stories and had spooky halloween sounds and music. The children all loved to sing and dance to the halloween music. They truly had the best time. Budget Friendly Halloween Parties can be done. We are proof! Even though it was budget friendly, the party was anything but boring. You can have a good time no matter what kind of budget you are on. Just use creativity! We can't wait for next year's party!
