Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday linkup hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of Tea, Becky @ BYBMG and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.
1) Last Thursday, my little family took a trip to Douglas, Georgia. We only stayed one night and had to come right back home on Friday. I wish we could have stayed longer but we enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful scenery and spending quality time together. I love road trips and family time.
2) Saturday after getting some much needed rest from our roadtrip, Justin, Raylan and I went to tour our old high school before they tear it down. They allowed people to tour it and sign the wall under the year we graduated. It was nice to stroll down memory lane one last time and for Raylan to see where his parents went to school at. It was bittersweet. We were able to see many of our old classmates that day and find some old photos. I have such good memories of high school. Justin and I were also high school sweethearts. Here is a photo of the three of us at the old Sheldon Clark High School!
3) Sunday, we threw Raylan and his cousin's the cutest little Halloween Party. We all had a blast. It was the first one that we have thrown and I hope we can continue it annually. It was just so much fun. You can read all about the Budget-Friendly Kids Halloween Party here.
4) Raylan also had another Halloween Party and Trick or Treat at Story Time this week. He always has a ton of fun with all of his story time activities. All of the children looked so cute in their little costumes. The local library does some many good things for the children and I'm so thankful for them and their programs.
5) Fall Foliage has been at it's peak this week in Kentucky and it has been absolutely gorgeous! I love going for drives during the Fall to see all of the beautiful colors. God sure does have a beautiful paintbrush.
