High Five for Friday - Della Devoted

High Five for Friday

Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday linkup hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of TeaBecky @ BYBMG   and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.

1) It has finally felt like Fall in Kentucky and I absolutely love it. Raylan and I have made the most of these beautiful days with Swinging on his swingset and going on evening walks to see all of the beautiful Fall Foliage.

2) We have been planning for Raylan's Halloween Party with his cousin's this upcoming weekend and we are all super excited, especially Raylan. We have been planning it for over a month and I'm so glad it's all finally coming together. Raylan is just like me, we both love the holidays.

3) This week has been perfect for indulging in Fall Foods. It has been really cool outside, so we have enjoyed nice warm Homemade Veggie Soup. My dad and I also made Caramel Apples which are a favorite of mine. I also found Raylan some peanut and tree nut free Candy Corn made by Sunrise.  He was so excited that he could finally have some this year. It's so hard to find candies and foods that he can eat with his severe food allergies. That's why I advocate for the Teal Pumpkin Project during Halloween. Food Allergy children should be able to enjoy Halloween safely too.

4) I love using my Bible app on my phone. It's so handy and I love all the Bible plans that you can read. I just finished the plan, Overcoming Procrastination. It was such a great plan and was much needed to motivate me this week with my classes starting back. I really do need to stop Procrastinating as much as I do.

5) Raylan has started speech this Fall at school one day a week. He has already improved a lot. While in speech, he made me the most beautiful picture and said it was just for mommy. It was so beautiful and perfect. He can be the sweetest kid sometimes. It's hard to watch your babies grow up but at the same time it's wonderful to see them accomplish so much. Motherhood is oh so hard yet very rewarding at the same time.

This week's featured blogger is Anne from In Residence. Anne is a English major turned work-from-home editor. She is a mom and wife to a doctor in residence. She blogs about life, motherhood, books, currently and style. I love her most recent post of Wearing Lately: Black and White and Red all over. Her style is adorable. Please stop by and say hello to Anne.
