H54F: Homecoming & Halloween Fun

Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday linkup hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of TeaBecky @ BYBMG   and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.

1) Stranger Things Came Out last week, so Justin and I have been binge watching it. I have been so excited for Season 2. If you haven't watched Stranger Things, start now! It's awesome!

2) Last weekend was such a busy weekend for me. I baked all weekend long. I baked cookies for a wedding, cookies for Halloween and a 60th anniversary cake for a sweet couple in our church. 60 years is such a great accomplishment. I pray that the Lord blesses Justin and I with that many years. We had our church homecoming dinner on Sunday with wonderful fellowship and food, so we also threw the sweet couple a surprise anniversary party.

3) We had a small Halloween party on Tuesday with some of my dad's friends from Dialysis. I took Raylan and he brightened up their day with his skeleton costume and treat bags for them. I was glad to see them smile. They are so precious.

4) Halloween/Trick or Treat was so much fun. Raylan was old enough to really enjoy Halloween this year. He loved trying to scare everyone with his skeleton costume and he also enjoyed seeing everyone in their costumes. Raylan also had me at the last minute dress up as a Skeleton. Our original plan was for me to be a witch, but then he changed his mind. He got so much candy that he won't need candy until after Easter lol. Of all the treats, his favorite was the popcorn that the movie theatre was handing out. I don't blame him though, movie popcorn is the best. He was also entered into a costume contest. If you have me on facebook, please go vote for him.

5) Now that Halloween is over, I will be putting my Christmas tree up. I can never wait until after Thanksgiving. I love relaxing by the glow of the Christmas lights and watching Christmas movies on Hallmark. I just love Christmas and always get so giddy to celebrate it. I guess I will always have a Christmas heart. Who else is putting their tree up soon?
