Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday linkup hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of Tea, Becky @ BYBMG and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.
1) Last weekend was a lazy weekend so Raylan and I put up our Christmas tree. I never can wait until after Thanksgiving. I just love Christmas and so does Raylan. We also put up a little tree in his room. Now to finish decorating the rest of the house. I love this photo of him putting the ornaments on the tree. It's just so precious. You will probably be seeing it on this year's Christmas Card.
2) I've had Turkey and Dressing Twice this week. Justin and I had date night and did a little Christmas shopping. We had delicious Turkey and Dressing at Bob Evans for dinner. On a different day, my dad and I made yummy Turkey and Dressing Roll-Ups. You can grab the recipe here. You can tell we are in the holiday spirit for Thanksgiving and Christmas lol.
3) I have always had anxiety, but lately it has been worse. I guess it has a lot to do with my classes and a lot of people that I'm close to being so sick. Stress will do that to a person. Anyway, Justin took Raylan and I out in the hills on Sunday evening on the side by side. It helped me tremendously. It's amazing what prayer and being out in nature can do for a person. Being out in nature is just so calming for me. I'm thankful that God put it on Justin's heart to do that because it's exactly what I needed; but then again God always knows what we stand in need of.
4) I have discovered Peppermint Twinkies this week and they are soooo good! They certainly made my day. I love all things peppermint. I always get so excited for Mcdonald's Peppermint Hot Cocoa this time of year too.
5) I've been catching up on The Good Doctor this week on hulu. Have you watched it yet? It's such a great show. I love it!
