This has been a super busy week but a great week. Here are my favorites...
1) On Saturday, we went to the race track as usual. Raylan had several kids to play with which made things a lot easier for this momma. He is just like his daddy, he loves to watch the cars go fast. I'm sure Justin will have him racing before I know it.
2) I had a great Mother's Day. Justin let me sleep in while he got up with Raylan. I even woke up to a good hot cup of coffee and two homemade cards that they had made me. I also received some beautiful flowers and we ordered Pizza. This momma got to relax all day which was much needed and appreciated.
3) Our local extension office hosts a Happy Healthy Playdate once a month. We attended it for the first time on Monday and it was so much fun. Raylan got to plant me some beautiful Marigolds all on his own. He also got to read books and play games with other children and have a healthy snack. It's such a great program! I wish I would have been taking him all along.
4) Tuesday, Raylan graduated from Story Time at our local library. We have had so much fun these last two years. We're going to miss it so much since Raylan will be starting preschool in the fall. It has been such a great program. Raylan has learned so much and made so many friends. I recommend that every child get to attend a story time program.
5) This week has been Food Allergy Awareness Week. I have done my best to raise as much awareness as I can. Please take the time to read my most recent blog post of A Day in the Life of a Food Allergy Mom.
