High Five For Friday - Della Devoted

High Five For Friday

Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday link-up hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of TeaBecky @ BYBMG   and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.

This has been a very rough and trying week. I picked Justin up from work last Saturday and took him straight to the emergency room. Well they transferred him to another hospital via ambulance and he had to have emergency surgery. He had two large Kidney Stones in each kidney that had his kidneys completely blocked off. The doctor said that he was almost in Kidney failure. They placed in stents in each Kidney to allow his kidneys to drain  and allow all of the swelling and inflammation to go down. He will have to have another surgery on the 31st to take the stents out and burst up the kidney stones, so please keep him in your prayers.

1) I'm so very thankful that God spared my husbands life and his kidneys. Even though he is in terrible pain, things could have been much worse. God is so good and such a wonderful protector.

2) I'm also very thankful for the wonderful prayer warriors who have prayed for Justin and for those who have checked on him this week.

3) My roses have been in full bloom and they are so beautiful. I love God's beautiful handiwork and I love beautiful flowers. They just brighten everything up!

4) My dad bought Raylan a pool and we are so excited! We can't wait to get it up and get to enjoy it soon. I know we will have a blast this Summer. Isn't it crazy how much grandparents spoil their grandchildren?! I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful dad. Not only for what he does for us, but for the wonderful man that he is. He has the kindest and most caring heart of anyone that I know. He is so good to everyone.

5) I have totally been obsessed with the Royal Wedding this week. It was such a beautiful wedding.  Meghan and Harry are so adorable together and you can really tell the love that they have for one another. She was such an elegant and gorgeous bride. I just love her!

Instead of continuing with a featured blogger each week, we have decided to switch things up a bit and pick out our 3 favorites posts that we have read from our bloggers each week. Mine are below.. Don't forget to check them out!
