Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday link-up hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of Tea, Becky @ BYBMG and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.
1) This has been a beautiful week. The weather has cooperated and hasn't rained much, so Raylan and I have tried to enjoy it as much as we can. We have had backyard picnics, read outside, took long walks, played in the sand and have had so much fun together.
2) We finally got our swimming pool put together and filled up. We've been in it a time or two but the water is still pretty cold. This weekend it's supposed to get up in the 90's so the water should feel pretty good then.
3) Raylan and his little friend got to go do crafts and watch the Lion King this week at our local community center and movie theater. The crafts were so much fun and the movie was free with a purchase at the concession stand. It was such a great event! Every Wednesday all throughout June they play free movies for kids. I can't wait to go back!
4) My aunt was in from Florida all last week and it was so good to get to spend some quality time with her. I hardly ever get to see her except for maybe once or twice a year. She definitely spoiled Raylan while she was in. We were sad to see her have to go back.
5) It's also been a great week for water balloon fights. Needless to say, I did not win those fights. Raylan and Justin had me soaked! I love spending time with my little family and having simple fun!
