Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday link-up hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Katie @ Cup of Tea, Becky @ BYBMG and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.
Let's recap my favorites from this week.
1) My dad surprised my brother and I with an early birthday party celebration since we both have birthdays in September. He got us a beautiful and delicious fall themed cake along with Pizza and other yummy foods. It was the sweetest and most thoughtful party. God sure blessed us with a wonderful dad.
2) My family and I went hiking to New River Gorge on Saturday. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place with so much to see and do. You can read my review about it here.
3) Raylan and I spent our Labor Day finishing up our Fall/Halloween décor. He's so excited for Halloween. He is just like me, he loves the holidays.
4) Speaking of Holidays, I started my Christmas Layaway this week. I always like to start as soon as possible so that I can have the time and money to get everything done and not be so stressed. I like being able to relax and enjoy the holidays.
5) I'm in need of a new hair style for Fall. Any suggestions? I love changing my look up with the changing seasons.
1) Comforting Homemade Turkey and Dumplings by Marie from DIY Adulation
2) How to be Hospitable as an Introvert by Deanna from This Kitchen Table
3) Cookies and Milk 1st Birthday Party by Clearwater Cottage
