I know you all have seen quite a few Instant Pot recipes on the blog lately, but I just can't help it. I seriously am in love with my Instant Pot. It has made my life so much easier, especially now that I'm a working mom. No woman feels like cooking a huge meal after they come home from work. I prefer to spend the extra time with my little family or propping my feet up and relaxing with a good hot cup of coffee. I feel like I can now fix almost any meal in my instant pot, including one of my favorites which is Chicken Philly Cheesesteak. It hardly takes no time at all. I fixed it the other day and I love the fact that I don't have to stand over the stove making sure it's just right. I just placed it in the Instant Pot and forgot all about it until it was done. It was super delicious and perfect just the way I like my Chicken Philly Cheesesteaks. Here is what you will need to make this delicious masterpiece.
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp Butter
1/2 bag of Pepper and Onion Blend
1 lb Tyson Trimmed and Ready Chicken Breast Tenderloins
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 cup of water
Salt (to taste)
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Hamburger Buns
Instructions:
1) Set the Instant Pot to the Saute Setting and add the butter.
2) Add Pepper and Onion Blend to Instant Pot. Saute for 4-5 minutes.
3) Add the chicken, onion powder, Worcestershire Sauce and water. Then stir together.
4) Put lid on the Instant Pot, lock and set to 12 minutes on "Manual" high setting.
5) Quick release when finished.
6) Sprinkle Mozarella cheese all over and stir to melt and combine.
7) Serve on toasted hamburger buns and enjoy.
*Makes 7-8 sandwiches
It's so delicious and definitely a family favorite! Chicken Philly has always been my go to sandwich at restaurants. Now I can enjoy it at home in just a few minutes.
