Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday link-up hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Becky @ BYBMG, Whitney @ Come Home For Comfort, Whitney @ Polka Dotty Place  and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.

1) Justin and I had a nice little dinner date over the weekend. We used a gift card that our nephews got us for Christmas. I love gift cards, especially for places to eat. Those always come in so handy. I just wish I had of felt better on our date. I've been having some health issues lately and I felt terrible especially on the way home. However, it was still nice to just get to spend some quality time with my husband.

2) My dad got me a Pioneer Woman Instant Pot for Christmas, and I have put it to good use this week. I've made two delicious meals. I love the quickness and convenience of an instant pot. I'm loving it so far!

3) We had a nice and relaxing New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.  New Year's Eve was fun for Raylan. We played board games, we made crafts and of course counted down until the New Year. I always try to make each holiday as memorable and fun for him as I can. Both days were also spent with yummy food and watching Netflix.

4) I've gotten in quite a bit of reading this week and just relaxed. I love being cozy under a blanket with a good book. I've not even taken our Christmas Tree down yet, but that's ok too. It's relaxing just having the glow of the tree while I read.


5) School started back this week, so Raylan and I are dragging. It's so hard to get back into the swing of things after being off on break. Raylan said he had missed his friends but he is ready for some snow days. So am I lol!
