High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.
1) We had a holiday and some snow days this week, so it's been quite a relaxing week. Today is our 3rd snow day this week. I just wish it wasn't so cold so we could enjoy our days off. I'm so over winter already.
2) I captured the above photo of a cardinal eating on a cold snowy morning. I think cardinals against the snow are so pretty. I love cardinals! They have always been my favorite.
3) Speaking of Cardinals, I ordered my first ever string art this week and it was of two cardinals. Have you seen string art before? It is so neat. You should check out my friend Kayla Stevens at Just Crafting Around. She does amazing work. She is super talented.
4) My sister-in-law made me some Valentine's Day pillow covers and they are so adorable. So I've been try to decorate the house for Valentine's Day this week. I've also been switching my furniture around. I guess cold weather will have you doing that.
5) I started a new book this week. It's called The Protector by R.S. Lively. It's so good and such a perfect read for these snow days.
