There is something about the color green that seems so cheerful to me. I don't know if it's because it is the color for St. Patrick's Day or if it just reminds me that Spring is almost near. We will soon see lots of beautiful green trees and vibrant flowers. Brighter days are up ahead and that makes my heart so happy! So when I saw this beautiful green shirt on clearance for $2.98 at our local Walmart, I knew I wasn't passing it up. It's one of those mood boosting, confident giving basis tees.






I knew this little green shirt would be perfect for St. Patrick's Day, Spring, Summer and even Christmas. I wore it for the first time the other day and I chose to pair it with different shades of gray and dark blue. This outfit reminded me that now matter how dark and gloomy a winter can be, it will come Spring time again. I love taking a basic tee and dressing it up with a cardigan and a long tassel necklace. I think it automatically gives the whole outfit a boost and gives it a dressy yet casual look. I loved how it looked with the dark skinny jeans and moccasins. It was such a cozy yet feel good outfit.
