High Five For Friday - Della Devoted

High Five For Friday

Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday link-up hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Becky @ BYBMG, Whitney @ Come Home For Comfort, Whitney @ Polka Dotty Place  and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.

1) We tried a new Mexican Restaurant this week and we absolutely loved it. The food was Amazing and the service was great too. I got the Hawaiian Chicken Fajitas and they were so delicious! As you can tell in the photo above, Justin and Raylan approved too. I love trying new restaurants!

2) The Zoodles Animal Education Program came to Raylan's school a few weeks ago.  The kids got to see and learn about all kinds of neat animals and take pictures with some. Raylan chose to have his photo taken with Carter the Kangaroo. His photo finally came in this week. I promise he really loved the kangaroo even though the photo would suggest otherwise. I think he just didn't know what to expect from the Kangaroo when they snapped the photo.

3) I did a little DIY project this week. I'm loving how this tiered tray turned out for the bathroom. It certainly makes the bathroom vanity look a lot more organized.  You can't beat $3 from the Dollar Tree. I used 2 pie pans and a candle holder and hot glued them together.  I love a good DIY project!

4) Raylan was sick over the weekend, but I tried to make St. Patrick's Day as fun as possible for him. The photo above was a few of the St. Patrick's Day Themed Snacks that we had. I think he really enjoyed them. I always try to celebrate every holiday and make it as memorable as possible for him.

5) I bought this Tiered Tray from Hobby Lobby a while back, but this is the first time I have decorated with it. I tried to make it a fun Easter theme for Raylan. I love how it turned out! I used most of the things that I had from last Easter, except for the bunnies. I love taking old decor and finding new ways to decorate with it.

That’s a wrap for my week. How was your week? I hope it was great!

  1. Oh my gosh I'd die to hold a baby kangaroo! Precious. Doesn't it feel so great to have the bathroom counter tidy? Hope you have a super weekend.
