High Five For Friday - Della Devoted

High Five For Friday

Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday link-up hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Becky @ BYBMG, Whitney @ Come Home For Comfort, Whitney @ Polka Dotty Place  and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.

1) Over the weekend, Raylan had a small birthday party at my in-laws house. We celebrated with cupcakes and cookies with a few of his cousins. He had a blast! Read my most recent post of Why We Stopped Having Big Birthday Parties.

2) I finally made it to Hobby Lobby and found a few things that I’ve been wanting for the house. I love Hobby Lobby and I seriously walked down every single aisle. I’m sure Justin was more than ready to leave by the time we left.

3) We’ve had two days off from school this week and Raylan has loved that. All these snow days are making us both lazy though. I love a good snow day but I am more than ready for Spring. I need to see and feel the warm sunshine. I’m tired of freezing!

4) Have you noticed that the blog got a completely new design? What do you think? I absolutely love it! It has needed a new makeover for quite a while.

5) Zoodles Animal Education visited Raylan’s school this week. They brought in several different animals and taught the kids about them. Raylan got to take a picture holding a baby kangaroo. We had to order that picture and I can’t wait to show you when it comes in. The photo above is of one of the giant birds they learned about. He really enjoyed the program and so did I.

That’s a wrap for my week. How was your week? I hope it was great!

* Don't forget you can drop links for up to 3 of your posts each week and you can still drop your link for a Friday 5 post!

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to link-up below. Have a blessed and safe weekend!

  1. I like to walk up and down every aisle at Hobby Lobby too, my boyfriend hates going with me!

  2. I like to wander the whole of Hobby Lobby too but my boys don't usually tolerate it for that long. We stopped having big birthday parties for our boys several years ago and just enjoy a small family party with their grandparents.
