Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday link-up hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Becky @ BYBMG, Whitney @ Come Home For Comfort, Whitney @ Polka Dotty Place and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.
1) We celebrated my husband Justin's 30th Birthday this week. He wanted a low key birthday. His request was a homemade yellow cake with chocolate frosting, in which, Raylan helped decorate. Raylan also made him the card in the photo and I grilled steak and fixed his favorite sides for him. He also got a car part that he had been wanting, so he was a very happy camper.
2) Our niece Morgan, had her 8th grade prom over the weekend. She is the one in pants on the left. I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph her and all of her friends before they went. I love this candid photo of them. It represents their personalities and their friendship so well.
3) I photographed these wild horses near our local airport and they were such a beautiful sight. It was perfect timing for the photo considering the Kentucky Derby is this weekend.
4) We have had gorgeous weather this week, so a trip to the park and lake was much needed. Raylan never passes up a chance to play on his favorite playground.
5) Justin and Raylan went fishing and I tagged along. Raylan was thrilled to catch this big bluegill. He just didn't like it flopping around and trying to get away on him.
That’s a wrap for my week. How was your week? I hope it was great!
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to link-up below. Have a blessed and safe weekend!
Happy Birthday, Justin!
