It's grill season and our grilling has been going full force for a while now. I love grilled food, I really do! I also love switching things up for dinner when it comes to grilling out. There really isn't much that you can't make on the grill. My family has found a new dinner favorite. These Campfire Nachos are absolutely delicious, and I think you will love them as much as we do.
Ingredients you will need:
9 x 13 Aluminum pan or Cast Iron Skillet
Large Bag of Tortilla Chips
1 Can of Chicken
1 Can of Black Beans
1 Can of Green Chili's
1 Can of Petite Diced Tomatoes
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Taco Seasoning (optional)
Directions:
First, cover pan with Tortilla Chips and layer several chips on top of each other. Then, put can of shredded chicken on top of nachos. You can flavor your chicken with taco seasoning or any seasoning you like. We opted for no seasoning. Next, drain black beans, green chili's and diced tomatoes. After draining, mix together and pour over top of chicken. Last, sprinkle mozzarella cheese over top of everything. Put on grill with low heat and watch carefully. Leave until the cheese begins to melt. You don't want to leave them too long or the tortilla chips will burn. 10-12 minutes is plenty long enough.
These Campfire Nachos are so good and hardly take anytime at all. These would be perfect to take to a 4th of July dinner or any summer celebration. I love super easy recipes like this, especially those that change up the traditional grilled food ideas. What are some of your favorite easy grilling recipes?
