Spain

Spain is one of the best countries in the world for food. So many dishes have come from this great country, and so many flavours we use every single day in our own cooking, simply because they introduced them into our lives. There are some recipes dating back hundreds of years, that are still the staple of Spanish food today. Sure, the recipes might have changed slightly as new flavours came about, but the tradition behind a good Spanish meal is still the same, and that's a home good cooked meal for all of the family. So, the first dish we're going to talk about, is Paella. It has to be mentioned when thinking about a traditional Spanish meal. It's on nearly every restaurant menu in the country, and homes around the world are eating their own version, simply because it's amazing. So, there's two versions of this that you could try. The first is the typical seafood paella, one of the two most common. It's a rice based dish, with cuts of fish fresh from the ports, paprika, vegetables, and other herbs and spices. The second version is the meat one, and the Spanish use all the trimmings. You'll often find the meat to be pigs feet or ears, super rare parts of meat to eat for us, but for them it's tradition. All you have to do is Google, and you should be able to find a traditional recipe to follow.

Argentina

Argentina is a country famous for so many different things, but the food is really one people associate with it. There's so many other countries that come first, when in fact for all of you meat lovers out there, this country should always be on your mind. Of course, this is famous for the humble steak. It's so simple to make, yet so many of us get it wrong. The perfect steak should not be cooked to an inch of its life. It should be cooked based on the type of steak, which the information for that can easily be found through Google. You should also note the white wine pairings that go beautifully with some cuts of steak. Cooking it on a BBQ is going to give you the best replica of flavour, because all of that smoke sinks wonderfully into the steak, creating that real meat flavour. Sides can be anything of your liking, but vegetables and garlic mash are a great pairing if you're stuck for choice.

Italy

Italian is food that we've all come to know and love. In fact, most of us would not be able to live our lives without some of the Italian food that has been introduced to our diet. But it has to be said, that one of the best Italian meals that seriously doesn't get enough praise, is the lasagne. It's just one of the nicest foods that you can taste, with a range of different flavours cresting a creamy, yet tangy, beautiful taste. The way we make it has changed over the years, but if you want to create that authentic Italian vibe, you have to use all of your own ingredients, nothing from a jar or a packet. Sourcing these is super easy from the supermarket, and you could even get your own pasta maker to make the sheets of pasta. Recipes such as this one will guide you through the process, and we just know it won't disappoint. You can have a nice bit of homemade garlic bread on the side, which is again super easy to make, and you honestly will have one of the best meals of your life!
