Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday link-up hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Becky @ BYBMG, Whitney @ Come Home For Comfort, Whitney @ Polka Dotty Place and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.
1) Raylan and I enjoyed a Library and Ice Cream Day last Friday! He loves going to the Kids Corner at our local library. His favorite is the train track and all of the fun children's books there. We checked out several books and have already read most of them. It was a good day!
2) Raylan made it in our local newspaper. He is on the bottom left with batman sunglasses beside of batman. He was so excited to see himself in the paper and so was I.
3) Wednesday felt like a perfect cool fall day, so I enjoyed the evening with a cup of coffee in one hand and a book in the other. I'm loving this Love Story book that I checked out from the Library. Karen Kingsbury is one of my favorite authors.
4) Farmer Raylan's tomatoes are growing so good. It's so exciting to see the things we have planted starting to grow and do well. I pray that his pumpkins do good. It would be so nice to have some for Fall.
5) Justin had a race in Tennessee over the weekend, so our little family enjoyed a quick little weekend getaway. The good thing about racing is you get to travel and see a lot of different places. I love weekend getaways.
That’s a wrap for my week. How was your week? I hope it was great!
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to link-up below. Have a blessed and safe weekend!
We had a little weekend getaway to cape cod and Nantucket! I love those little weekends away. I have not heard of that author before; I'll have to check her out.
