imPRESS Nails: Budget Friendly 2 Week Manicure

Lately, I have been getting told  by several people that they love my nails. I also always get asked the question "Who does your nails?" So it's time to confess...

One day back in the summer, I was scrolling through my instagram feed when I saw some nails that @teacherwholoves2match had on that caught my eye. Of course, I had to stop my scroll and take a  closer look at those gorgeous nails. The nails were imPRESS press-on nails made by Kiss Products. They looked like the person had just stepped out of a nail salon. I knew right then and there that I had to buy myself a set and see what all the hype was about.

imPRESS nails are a One-Step Gel Manicure. They have an Ultra- Fit Design that is slim but also strong. imPRESS nails also have tapered cuticles and a contoured fit. There is no need for messy nail glue, each imPRESS nail comes with a strong super adhesive which makes for a hassle-free removal. The best part is that they are safe on your nails and won't destroy your nail beds.

Each kit contains 30 nails including 6 accent nails, prep pad, mini file and a manicure stick. You can also purchase various shapes and sizes in these nails.  As a busy mom, I prefer short nails.

imPRESS nails are super easy to use and doesn't take but 10 minutes to apply. I always apply my nails before I go to bed so that I won't be lifting on things to cause them not to adhere.  Each nail is labeled on the back with numbers which allows for easy matching for the other hand. I wash my nails good with soap and water, then I take the manicure stick and push my cuticles back. For the application part,  clean nails with enclosed prep pad. Then, align tab side with cuticle. Next, peel off adhesive backing and press on.  I start with my little finger then apply to the rest of the fingers. I apply thumb nails last. The reason I do this is because I always use my thumbs to do the pressing on the other nails. I don't want my thumb nails lifting and not adhering after application. I make sure to press down in the center and around on each finger so that the adhesive glue will hold. I will repeatedly keep pressing down on my nails for a few minutes to be extra sure that they stick.

imPRESS nails typically last me up to 2 weeks. They are easy to remove when you are ready to change out for a new set. You just lift up on the side of the nail with a cuticle stick and slowly pull it off. I love how I can change them up as often as I like.

imPRESS Nails are cute, stylish, long-lasting and affordable. They are definitely not the stick on nails that we had as a kid growing up and that's a great thing. These are so much better! You can find imPRESS nails online or in stores at Walmart, Rite-Aid, Target, Walgreens and CVS. The price varies with stores but typically range from $6 to $8. I find mine at our local Walmart for $6. The prices are very affordable for those of us who are on a budget and cannot justify spending  the money or time at the nail salon. I also love that they are so cheap so you can change them out often to match your outfits.  For more nail ideas be sure to follow my friend on Instagram @teacherwholovestomatch. She's the one who inspired me to start buying these gorgeous, long-lasting and budget friendly nails.

imPRESS nails also has a great selection of holiday themed nails. I've already purchased these beauties for Halloween! I can't wait to stock up on the Christmas themed nails. Let me know if you purchase a set. I would love to hear from you!
