Halloween is almost here and we are so excited! I love all of the fun and excitement of helping Raylan get dressed up for his big fun night. Of course, I usually dress up right along with him too. Truth be told, we have been celebrating Fall and Halloween since Labor day. I love doing fun crafts and activities with Raylan leading up to the big day of any Holiday, so Halloween is no different. I have put together a fun Halloween Scavenger Hunt for us and for all families to enjoy.

Nut Free Safe Candy List
Tuesday, October 22, 2019
It's almost Halloween and that means it's time to start planning out what you're going to give out to Trick or Treaters. Most of you have probably already bought your Halloween Candy, and some of you are probably last minute shoppers. When planning for Trick or Treat, please keep in mind that there are several children who have serious life-threatening food allergies. My son is severely allergic to peanuts and tree-nuts. Halloween can be so scary for Food Allergy Kids and their families, so please be considerate of them. Set aside a few safe snacks for those children who have food allergies, so that they can enjoy Halloween while being safe too. I can't speak for the other food allergies, but I can for Nut Allergies because that's what we struggle with. This is a list of Nut Free Safe Candy that I feel is safe for my son and other nut allergy kids.
Hearty Slow Cooker Beef Stew
Monday, October 21, 2019
I don’t know about you, but there is something about this time of year that make you crave a good hearty meal. I always want stews, soups and chili’s during Fall. There is nothing better than coming home from work to a good hearty Slow Cooker meal to warm up with when it’s cool outside. One of my favorite meals is this Hearty Slow Cooker Beef Stew.

With only a handful of days before Halloween, it’s fair to say that parents need to finally get ready for a child-friendly Halloween party. The typical Halloween party tends to be focused around going out and adult themes. As a parent, you need to be creative to create a Halloween-themed party for your kids and their friends.
Why does it make sense to plan a house party? Depending on the weather, you may not be willing to spend a lot of time outside with the kids. Of course, everybody wants a treat or trick moment, but when it’s cold and raining outside, you need to make sure that kids can have fun safely indoors too. Additionally, the party is the perfect excuse for simple games and togetherness in the safety of your home. But how do you throw a last-minute Halloween party that keeps kids excited and entertained? Here are a few tips:

Halloween Mystery Play
Raylan and I absolutely love the holidays. No joke at all, we seriously go all out for Halloween and Christmas. We over decorate and do lots of fun crafts and activities leading up to the big day. I try to make the holidays for him as fun and memorable as I can because he’s only little once. While at the Dollar Tree the other day, I had a light bulb moment. Let’s do a Halloween Mystery Play! So here is what we did.

I look forward to the cool, crisp autumn days and the amazing aromas of Pumpkin, and Apple everywhere. I also look forward to all the fun and spooky things that Fall and October have to offer. Yes, I really do love Fall that much! So, it's no surprise that I decorate a lot for my favorite season. With that being said, I'm giving you a Fall Home Tour. I hope you enjoy.
