It's almost Halloween and that means it's time to start planning out what you're going to give out to Trick or Treaters. Most of you have probably already bought your Halloween Candy, and some of you are probably last minute shoppers. When planning for Trick or Treat, please keep in mind that there are several children who have serious life-threatening food allergies. My son is severely allergic to peanuts and tree-nuts. Halloween can be so scary for Food Allergy Kids and their families, so please be considerate of them. Set aside a few safe snacks for those children who have food allergies, so that they can enjoy Halloween while being safe too. I can't speak for the other food allergies, but I can for Nut Allergies because that's what we struggle with.
