High Five For Friday

*The link-up is down. It will be back next Friday! We are so sorry. Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to the weekly High Five For Friday link-up hosted by Tif @ Bright On A Budget, Becky @ BYBMG, Whitney @ Come Home For Comfort and myself. We're glad you're here! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights or five favorite things from the past week each Friday.

1) Our Sunday School took all of the kids to the Pumpkin Patch over the weekend. It was the perfect day for it too! The temperature was just right. Raylan loved it and so did I. If you have never been to White Oak Pumpkin Patch, I highly recommend it. There is so much for kids to do there. They never have time to be bored. We have an awesome Sunday School Program and we are so grateful for all that they do for the kids.

2) The school had Historical Day. Raylan refused to dress up as a historical figure. However, he loved the Hay Rides, the petting zoo, and especially the cotton candy. It was such a fun and educational day for all of the kids. They really enjoyed learning about history. His favorite stations were the coal mines and underground railroad.

3) This is why October will always be my favorite color. I'm so glad I get to see this beautiful view on my drive home everyday. Isn't this tree gorgeous?!

4) Our local Dream Discovery Center and Library held a spooky spectacular event this week. The event was so much fun and very educational. Kids got to do fun Halloween things like making their own witch potion, Pumpkin Volcanoes, an escape room and eat yummy treats. We had a lot of fun and we are so thankful for such a wonderful community who puts on great events for the children.

5) I have been Raylan's substitute teacher all week because his teacher has been at a training. I have loved every second of it. I love being with him and watching him learn and interact with his friends. I also love this age group. It amazes me how quickly they learn and what all they retain. Kindergarteners are just so precious. I can certainly tell that they have an awesome teacher who has already taught them so much in such a short time.

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to link-up below. Have a blessed and safe weekend!
