Tomorrow is Independence Day and I'm so excited! I really love celebrating our freedom and all that we have to be thankful for. Despite all that is going on in the world right now, America really is a wonderful place to live. I'm proud to be an American and I'm proud to wear my red, white and blue.

As long as you keep the following tips in mind, the urge to eat between meals won’t be as big of a deal.

Why I Don't Obsess Over A Spotless Home

Lilly Brights for Summer Blues

Has this not been the strangest summer that we have ever had? I would have never dreamed that we would be living most of our Spring and Summer months quarantined and social distancing. It certainly has been a trying time for everyone. It has actually been quiet depressing, to be honest. In times like this we need to find the sunshine however we can, so that's why I like to dress in bright colors to beat the blues.

Easy Strawberry Sorbet

Kentucky has been super hot these last few days. The humidity has been almost unbearable. When the heat is like this, I just want to stay inside under the ac. I also want very cold treats to cool me off. Recently, I made this delicious and easy Strawberry Sorbet for my little family to enjoy. It has been the perfect treat to keep us cool. I will share the recipe with you. I hope you enjoy it like we have.

The Boost Your Life Needed

*This post contains affiliate links
If you feel like your life needs a boost at the minute, we completely understand. Life has become so different to what we used to know it to be. The countries that were shut down, and are still shut down, are some of the biggest countries in the world. Life went to a way that nobody had ever experienced before, and for some people this was rather overwhelming. All of a sudden we couldn't go out, we couldn't go and eat food in our favorite restaurants, we couldn't do anything we were used to doing. Some of you may have lost your job, you may have suffered with mental health problems, or you may have just gone with the flow and did your own thing. However this has made you feel, however it has affected you, and however you went about dealing with it all, your life might need a boost right now. You need a chance to treat yourself and to give your life a boost of happiness and excitement. Despite life definitely not returning to normal just yet, there are still plenty of ways that you can treat yourself, whether that be something good for your body, mind, or your soul. All you have to do is keep on reading and we'll enlighten you with a few great ideas that we have.

Getting Your Foodie Fix During Lockdown

*This post contains affiliate links
Coronavirus has impacted all of our lives in more ways than we probably even realise. We know about the tragic death toll and health issues many are experiencing, we know about the financial implications it’s had for us and the economy as a whole. But one of the main things that have made the entire thing more difficult has been our loss of freedoms. Of course, lockdown and quarantine measures are most definitely a good thing and help to keep us safe, but it can still be a difficult pill to swallow knowing we have a whole summer ahead of us without being able to do the activities we enjoy. All we can do is follow the rules and try and make the most of things, and as a foodie this can mean enjoying delicious dinners with members of your household. As the weather continues to improve, getting outside more can make everyone feel better, and there are a few different ways we can serve up lunches and dinners to keep things more interesting. Here are some ideas!

Ease Digestion When You Love Sweet Treats

Would you have a slice of cake?

It’s hard to refuse such a sweet invitation. However, sweet treats can have a dark side and affect your digestion. Indeed, there’s nothing worse than enjoying a yummy and moist slice of home-baked cake one minute, and the next experiencing bloating or stomach cramps. There could be many different reasons affecting your digestion. Gluten intolerance or gluten excess can be one of the most common causes of discomfort, for instance. Looking on the bright side of baking: You can find a gut-friendly alternative for most issues.

The Things to Know Before Buying an Instant Pot

*This post contains affiliate links
If you haven’t heard of an Instant Pot, then where have you been? A lot of people would class it as a pressure cooker, which it is, albeit an electric one. However, Instant Pot is also able to perform a number of other different functions, from being used as a slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, warmer, saute pan, and even a yogurt maker. It is a multi-cooker that can replace many items in your kitchen, and be used in one. But is it any good? Will it be worth the money? Here are some things that everyone should know about an Instant Pot, before they part with their cash to buy one.

How To Stop Your Kids From Eating Too Much Sugar During Lockdown

*This post contains affiliate links
Kids are sugar addicts. Whenever they have the chance to eat something sweet and sugary, they grasp it with both hands. Throughout your normal life, you probably manage to restrict their sugar intake quite well. But, thanks to lockdown, your kids might be going sugar crazy!

They’re bored in the house, which means they take to eating lots of snacks and treats all the time. They’re dipping in and out of the Nutella jar, taking chocolate from the fridge, and so on. Worse, you feel bad for them being at home and may reward them with extra sweets to help them cope.

Clearly, this isn’t wise at all. So, how do you stop your kids from eating too much sugar while they’re locked inside?

The Popularity of Indian Food In The U.S

If you are looking for something fun to do with your friends on the weekend then you should consider going out for a bite to eat. Restaurants provide the perfect settings for individuals to enjoy some quality time with those who are close to them. After all, you get to catch up with the ones that you love and you can have a good gossip about everything that has been going on lately. This is something which is very difficult when going elsewhere because for example nightclubs are too loud and cinemas are too quite. In addition to this, you get to enjoy some fantastic food, and who doesn’t love great food?
