Pot Roast Sandwich: A Family Favorite

I love a good sandwich, I really do! There is nothing better than a tasty sandwich to satisfy your craving. One of my favorite meals that I have ever fixed for my family has been this delicious and simple Pot Roast Sandwich. It’s a family favorite.

Have you ever wondered what to do with leftover pot roast? You don’t really want to eat the same thing again the next day. However, you also don’t want to throw it all away and let it go to waste. Well, wonder no more. Turn your pot roast into a sandwich.

Ingredients:

Beef Pot Roast ( You can also use canned beef pot roast)
1 small onion
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
Shredded Carrots
1 tsp garlic powder
Mozzarella cheese
Texas Toast Bread

Method:

Heat your leftover pot roast or canned beef pot roast in a skillet for about 5 minutes. Next, stir in Onions, Peppers and shredded Carrots.  Let those fry along with pot roast on medium to high heat for about 10 minutes or until everything is tender. Once everything is tender, stir in 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.

Once you are finished frying all ingredients, be sure to sprinkle mozzarella cheese all over the top and then stir in cheese. Add as much cheese as you like.

Finally, Toast  several pieces of Texas Toast Bread and assemble your sandwiches together.

These sandwiches are packed with a lot of flavor that will leave your mouth watering. It's a Family Favorite in our home that my husband requests over and over again. They really are so delicious. I like to serve ours with a side of potato wedges. It's a quick and simple meal with a whole lot of taste. You and your family will love it!
