How was your Week? I hope it was great! Our weekend was great! We had more birthday celebrations for Raylan. However, on Tuesday Raylan was diagnosed with Flu Type B. He's had a pretty miserable week. I'm going to share my favorites from his birthday celebration. I'm also going to share a  few things I've done in the house since we've been stuck inside this week.

We all have those signature bakes we love to present at any gathering: church potlucks, baby showers, Mother’s Day cookouts. Gorgeous red velvet cakes, lemon pie piled high with meringue, chewy, fudgy brownies...all those stand-bys are still great as ever, and guaranteed crowd-pleasers. But sometimes you just need something with a little more...oomph. Something that’s as impressive and gorgeous to the eye as it is mouth-watering.

Tinnitus is an exceptionally overwhelmingly difficult condition to live with. Tinnitus is a condition which creates a severe ringing in the ears, sometimes a roaring or hissing, which can often lead to anxiety, stress and much more. Things can get better however. You may or may not be given some good advice by your doctor on how to control your Tinnitus. Some say, it may go away forever, it may go away and come back, or it may never go away. There's nothing we can do, and your ears are perfectly healthy. It doesn't have to end here. Tinnitus varies from person to person, but there are ways to ensure that you are not feeling trapped inside your own head and still able to get out and about!

Polka Dot Pleated Dress

Have you ever found a dress that you absolutely loved and felt good in? Well, I have found that dress! I saw this adorable Polka Dot Pleated Dress on sale on Amazon and had to have it. It was a really good deal and I thought I might as well try it for the price. I didn't know how the dress would fit or if I would even like it, but the price couldn't be beat. However, I ended up loving it and this is my favorite dress to date.

If there’s a phrase that rings true when it comes to dog owners, it’s that there’s ‘no such thing as bad dogs, just bad owners’. While dogs do have different personalities, and various breeds can lean towards being more boisterous or playful, how you train your dog will make a huge difference to their personality and behavior.

*This post contains affiliate links
We all hope that all of our loved ones will be feeling happy, thrived, and all-around good. But alas, life can’t always be so perfect. It’s always important to keep an eye out to check that everyone in your clan is feeling good. While we tend to do this for our kids -- since it’s our job to protect them -- we can often overlook the needs of our parents. Historically, they’ve looked after us, but in their later years, we need to look out for them. Below, we take a look at a few common issues among the elderly that you’ll need to look out for. This role isn’t always enjoyable, but it is important!

Sweetheart Punch

Valentine's Day is this week and I'm getting things prepared for my little family. No matter what holiday it is, I try to celebrate in some small way. I always try to make holidays special for my son and as memorable as possible for him. I don't do anything too extravagant for Valentine's Day, but I do like to make festive treats and drinks. This Valentine's Day, I'm serving up this non-alcoholic Sweetheart Punch for my little family.

Having a baby is a joyful experience. Bringing a new life into the world is a beautiful thing to do. However, as a new mother, you will be giving so much of yourself to your new baby that it can really take it out of you in so many ways. Taking care of yourself may be something that ends up getting pushed aside in favor of giving all of your love and attention to your baby. It is important to remember that in order to give your baby the best care possible, you need to be healthy and happy.

Sweetheart Blondies

Can you believe that it's already almost Valentine's Day? It will be here next week and that means it's time to decide what you are getting your sweetheart. I always get my sweetie a little something that he can use, a card and something sweet to eat. Usually I get him chocolates or bake him something. I recently made him these Sweetheart Blondies and he was majorly impressed with them. He said it was his favorite dessert to date that I have made. You may want to surprise your sweetheart with these too.
